In my travels I have met many great artists.  Heck,, I was raised by one.  Anyhow, the following links belong to personal friends and artisans in my area.

http://www.kaw-liga.com/       Homemade shirts, and wood sculpting

http://www.itsaburl.com/         This is my fathers website for our family business

The following are similar links to other treehouse experiences on the web.  For those of you considering having one built for yourselves, remember to compare our bids and visualization
of what it is you want built.  I enjoy having the families assistance in building, and making
the entire experience both affordable and memorable to each of us.  After all, building
the treehouse is half the fun, you may not want to miss out on the experience.

another nice one

I found these sites interesting.  I enjoy using log superstructures instead of conventional lumber, both for the look and for the strength.  But there is no pre-fabricating my log  designs, each piece is notched especially for the
tree its mounted to, and I do not like the look of metal brackets on my superstructure, but on rare occasions, I may have to use them although it has not happened yet).  This is why my work  looks
so different than what you may find on these other links.  I tend to greatly "overbuild",  and use the most natural looking  materials possible.  I will try and stay away from straight lines when ever possible.  It adds flavor to the
finished product, and prevents me from getting  burnt out.  Every piece is different, every structure unique, every
job, fun and creative.  To me, treehouse building is an art, not a job.

Here are some random treehouse sites that should get you well on your way.
