I consider a treehouse to be a structure in the tree that has a roof and walls. The above images do not, hence,, I call them treeforts,, It just seems right.
A REAL TREEHOUSE
Complete with outdoor shower and latrine, the inside is lush with redwood beds and sink. Even a hollowed out living oak tree, with glass display shelves. This treehouse has several living trees growing through it and requires a little upkeep every five year or so,, as the trees continue to grow and expand the holes they rise through.
